BRIDGE COMPONENTES
Precast/prestressed bridge components cut construction time in half. Precast/prestressed components arrive at the jobsite ready to install.
CPS’s precast/prestressed concrete bridge products are manufactured to your job specifications in a controlled environment, under roof, and protected from the weather. With these advantages, we will meet your scheduling demands.
Another CPS advantage is our location. We can ship your precast/prestressed bridge components by using the most cost-effective transportation method: truck, barge, or rail. You select the method best suited for your job site deliveries.
prestressed bulb tee bridge beams
We have formwork to cast all typical beam shapes and sizes, including AASHTO, Modified Bulb T’s, PCEF/PCBT Girders, and Florida I-Beams. Between all of our plants, we have manufactured thousands of girders. With our lifting capabilities, we can pick and ship beams upwards of 185’ long.
Segmental Bridge Systems
CPS can cast your segmental design. We have completed such high-profile bridges as the Marc Basnight Bridge (New Bonner Bridge) over the Oregon Inlet, and two bridges on the Blue Ridge Parkway (Laurel Forks and Bridge over I-26).
Prestressed box beams
CPS has form compatibility to cast any width or height combination required for your Prestressed Box Beam design. We have completed hundreds of projects for various State DOT’s.
SOLID OR VOIDED SLABS
CPS can cast any size solid or voided slab required for your project needs. Voided slabs are an excellent light-weight solution for simple span projects or projects located in hard to access locations.
NEXT Beams
The NEXT beams is a great option on design build projects. We used the NEXT beam on the extension of the Logan Airport runway project.
Precast/prestressed Deck slabs
CPS has multiple beds and can cast any size panel required.
Concrete Pile
CPS has a robust library of pile forms. Square Piles range from 12″ up to 36″, and Static Cast Cylinder piles go from 36″ in diameter all the way up to 66″ in diameter. CPS has produced a single pile exceeding 200 ′ in one pour.
Pile Caps
Converting cast-in-place caps to precast saves time and money on a project. CPS can deliver caps via barge or truck to your jobsite, engineered to easily set on top of your piles, saving days of install time.
