OUR HISTORY
OUR BEGINNING
Coastal Precast Systems’ origin began in 1946 when our founder, John “Jack” Ogorchock, started a trucking company in Brookville, Pennsylvania. As the company kept pace with the rapidly growing post-war economy, Jack noticed that the construction industry was suffering from a lack of suppliers. After purchasing a concrete ready mix batch plant and three delivery mixers, the company soon gained a reputation of providing excellent service and quality concrete to the construction market. It wasn’t long until the Brookville facility needed more room to grow. Jack decided to move his family and business to a new location, DuBois, Pennsylvania. The business was given a new identity and renamed DuBrook Inc.
OVER 75 years of experience
For over 75 years, DuBrook Inc. has continued to meet the changing demands of the construction industry BY using new, innovative ideas with a commitment to quality and service. In the late 1980s, Concrete Precast Systems emerged from the DuBrook family of companies with Jack’s son, Paul Ogorchock, as owner and president of CPS. In 2007, Concrete Precast Systems’ name was changed to Coastal Precast Systems.
Coastal Precast Systems continues its tradition as a family business with the third generation of Ogorchocks. Paul’s son, Brian Ogorchock, is the plant manager in Chesapeake, and Paul’s daughter, Kristen Ogorchock Neal, is the AP/AR manager in Chesapeake. CPS continues its tradition of the family business while continuously providing quality products, service, and innovative ideas.

1946 John “Jack” Ogorchock in 1946 as a trucking company in Brookeville, PA. His company expands into supplying concrete materials and ready-mix concrete, opening a plant in DuBois- DuBrook Concrete is born.
1970s-80s DuBrook Concrete expands from Pennsylvania; opens new locations in both Texas and Northern Virginia.
2014 CPS expands to Wilmington, NC
2019 CPS expands to Cape Charles, VA
2025 CPS expands to Clinton, SC
